RETREATS

The Newman Center offers retreats in both the Fall and Spring Semesters. We go camping in October and skiing in February! We hope to expand our retreat program and offer additional shorter retreats for those who can't get away for long periods of time.

Fall Retreat

This Fall we will be camping at Carter Caves in Kentucky. Carter Caves is the perfect location for a retreat. We camp Friday and Saturday night, hike a 3 mile trail that has several natural bridges, go on a cave tour, eat lots of s'mores and sing lots of songs around the camp fire. Every retreat has a theme. This year the theme will be "Keeping the Faith" and our discussions and reflections will center around how to keep the faith while in college and surrounded by temptations.

Winter Retreat

Every winter we go on a Ski Retreat (during the spring semester). The dates are TBA. It is always a great weekend filled with skiing and prayerful reflection. Check back here for details!

Outings

The Newman Center offers many social outings each semester such as bowling, laser tag, ice skating, concerts and more! We are open to suggestions!
