The Newman Center is taking a group of students to Nazareth Farm the week of May 9 - 15.

After the week at Nazareth Farm we will be retreating to Deep Creek Lake Maryland where we have booked a house right on the lake.  We will spend some time relaxing after a week of hard work and reflecting on our time at the farm. 
We were able to raise enough money with our yard sale in August to cover the cost of the house so the cost to come on the trip to Deep Creek is just $40 which will cover the cost of food.  Feel free to join us on both trips or just one.

RETREATS

The Newman Center offers retreats in both the Fall and Spring Semesters.  We go camping in October and skiing in Februrary! We hope to expand our retreat program and offer additional shorter retreats for those who can't get away for long periods of time.

     

• Fall Retreat

            This Fall we are going camping at Carter Caves in Kentucky from October 9 - 11.  Our theme will be "Walking on Water". 
            The cost is $20.  You will need a sleeping bag and a tent to share.  Meals will be provided.  Sign up at the Newman Center

  In the past we have spent the week after finals at the beach in Ocean Isle, NC.  We are changing things up a bit this year.  Instead of going to the beach we are going on a mission trip to Nazareth Farm and then spending 3 nights at Deep Creek Lake afterwards.  Sign up at the Newman Center. Space is very limited! 

Outings

The Newman Center offers many social outings each semester such as bowling, laser tag, ice skating, concerts and more! We are open to suggestions!
